Flaxseed Bowl

This Flaxseed Bowl is my new go-to in the morning, I got the inspiration from the acai bowl and the hot flaxseed pudding and combined the two. It’s gluten-free and the flaxseed and chia seeds are full of omega-3s and will help you stay full and satisfied all morning. Plus with your choice of toppings like fruits, nuts and others like coconut flakes, seeds and spices you can add in more vitamins to start your day off right. You can even enjoy this recipe hot or cold! If you’re in a rush during the mornings make this the night before, then store in your fridge over night so its ready for you in the morning. I listed the toppings I used below, but feel free to try out your own topping ideas!

Flaxseed Bowl

Yield: 1 serving

Time: 10 minutes


3/4th cup Flaxseed

1 tbsp  Chia Seed

1 cup Almond Milk

1 1/2 tbsp Honey

1 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Salt






Coco Nibs

Banana Bread Peanut Butter


Blueberry Granola



1.) In a small pot bring the flaxseed, chia seed, honey and almond milk to a simmer for 3-5 minutes or until it thickens. Take the pot off the heat, then add the cinnamon.

2.) Pour into a bowl then add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
