It wasn’t suppose to be a cheat day… I was going to try a salad or a lighter meal at Bistro 25 and stay on track, but as soon as I walked in and saw the menu I knew that wasn’t an option for me anymore. My boyfriend Rich laughed because he knew from the time I said “Hey babe I wanna try this place, can you check out the menu for me?” that I wouldn’t be able to resist trying everything.
Bistro 25 Review
I had the braised pork belly for an appetizer, it included two small portions of pork belly, corn pudding, pickled shallots and an apple demi. I actually wish I could have ordered this as an entrée size, and then order seconds to bring home…
Rich loved these and so did I because he knows to always share his food with me.
The steak was so buttery and tender, it went so well with the gruyere cheese and caramelized onion. The texture came from the toasted baguette, some acidity was there from the slaw that came on the side. Overall it was a great steak sandwich!
This is by far the best lobster mac & cheese I have ever had! The mac and cheese is so creamy and has such savory notes from the truffle oil. They pack this dish with your choice of bacon, pork belly or lobster, and no they don’t hold back. If some one ever catches me in a mood just bring me this lobster mac & cheese and you’ll see some real tears of joy.

I had the pleasure of talking to the owner Mike Turner. He told me that he wanted to open a neighborhood bistro that offered a warm, comfortable atmosphere as well as affordable pricing. They offer 25 boutique style wines for 25 dollars per bottle, which is part of the reason for the name Bistro 25! They have a private dinning room that holds up to 75 guest, which is great for parties and events. I also wanted to thank Chef Ernesto Blanco for an incredible meal. I really loved dining at Bistro 25, the whole experience was amazing. The menu is very affordable and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend trying Bistro 25 for yourselves, this would be a great place to bring a date for Valentines day!
